Grass verges are, with a few minor exceptions, owned by Warwickshire County Council but managed under contract by Stratford District Council. The land surrounding the Grange Hall is owned and managed by Stratford District Council. These areas are cut nine times a season. Parks and play areas in Southam are owned by, and are the responsibility of, Southam Town Council. Any comments on these areas should be made to Southam Town Council on 01926 814004.
Housing association public open areas are operated and maintained by the relevant Housing Association (e.g. Orbit). Please contact them for more information. Land in front of Electricity Substations is owned and managed by Western Power Distribution [external link].
The responsibility for managing non-adopted public grounds in new estates such as Flying Fields, Southam Grange and Lilley Meadow is with the respective management companies.
